The Roar of the Lion

The Roar of the Lion

Evidently, March is coming in like a lion. That is, if we count last night and the wee hours of the morning, when the storms were at their worst. If we think of March coming in today during daylight hours, it should be a lot calmer here in Arkansas at least; maybe not so much farther north and east. So, which is it? Did March come in with a roar or was that February making its exit?

A stormy sky

Happy first day of March, everyone. I hope you were spared from the tornadoes that tore through part of our country. Thoughts and prayers go out to those in Missouri, Arkansas, Illinois and other states that were hard hit and the families who lost loved ones. It seems the storms are heading on east and northeast, so people in those areas, keep an eye on the sky.

A new month reminds me of a blank page in my daily journal. Nothing is written on it yet. Hopefully, most of the pages will be filled with positive, good things.

This is critique day for us Cozy Critters. It’s fun to gather so much creativity around my hundred year old cherry wood table. Nancy has covered a lot of miles to speak at a Christian conference. A new poem or story has probably jolted Jane awake in the wee, small hours of the morning. For sure, Carolyn will have written poems and painted pictures, and I know that Peg has been reading many cozy mysteries. I want to show the group the sample cover picture for By the Fright of the Silvery Moon, and also talk about launch parties.

early blooming Baby’s Breath

So, it’ll be a busy day and a fun day. A critique is a perfect way to begin March.
