And Then There Were Six

And Then There Were Six

With the release of By the Fright of the Silvery Moon in a few more days, the number of books I’ll have written will increase to six. And, do you know, I believe I like Fright more than any of them. (Please keep in mind I say this about each book as I finish.) There’s a feeling of not wanting to leave my characters and yes, I actually miss them once their story has been told.

Nettie Elizabeth Duncan McNeil (Ned) and I have gotten to be pretty good friends. I know her strong points and her flaws; I understand why she loves that old house she inherited, and I have nothing but admiration for her determination to live in a big two-storied Victorian that has a somewhat checkered reputation. You wouldn’t catch me doing that! Or, maybe, if I had actually been given the house as a gift and had fond memories of it from my childhood, and had a small, gray cat to keep me company, I might. Maybe.

You may pre-order By the Fright of the Silvery Moon as a Kindle book from Amazon or as a print from my publisher, Pen-L.

It’s exciting to see that many people are doing this and I thank you.

Here’s a little-known factoid about your humble cozy mystery author: Abe Lincoln and I have something in common: we were both born in log houses! However, I somehow doubt that I’ll ever become President.
