Head Down in a Well

My publisher,Duke Pennell, sent me the audio version of Best Left Buried. I’m to listen and give him my opinion. It’s exciting to hear Michelle Babb’s voice, as Darcy, read the first chapter. Darcy Campbell and Cub Dabbins are investigating a mysterious package lying on a ledge deep inside an old, hand-dug well. As Darcy leans over the well for a better look, Cub pushes her forward and she is dangling, upside down, inside the dark, cob-webby hole in the ground. Shivers chase each other down my spine as I imagine the terror Darcy feels.

Soon this third Darcy and Flora cozy mystery will join The Cemetery Club and Grave Shift as an audio book. I’m happy that the three books will exist in audible form as well as ebook and paperback.

This first cup of Folgers is hot and strong. A robin is proclaiming a beautiful start to a spring day. Darcy is off to a new mystery. Exciting things happening! I’ll keep you up-dated.
