Awaiting the Snow

Awaiting the Snow

My iPad weather predictor says, “Snow in 90 minutes.” Is it correct? The high today is forecast to be twenty-eight degrees, which is what it is right now. So, I imagine it’ll get colder as the day progresses. A perfect day for switching on the fireplace or lighting the logs, making sure the coffee pot keeps going, and reading those cozy mysteries.

The past year, 2016, I did a lot of writing, but I also did a lot of reading. I’m going to list only a few of the books I’ve read. I won’t provide links, but they are all on Amazon, if you’d like to read some for yourself. You can highlight the title here and copy it onto the Amazon search bar, and the book will pop up.

Anyway, all that said, here are only a few that I read and really enjoyed. I don’t list all of the books which, in my estimation, were excellent, because you would become bored with reading the list.

Back cover of Grave Heritage. Back covers are sometimes overlooked

Spence at Marlby Manor by Michael Allen;Who Hates Marigold Flowers by Sarah M. Barton; Lord James Harrington books by Lynn  Florkiewicz;  all the Miss Seeton books by Heron Carvic; Case Closed Not by Sharon Mierke; Ghost Times Two by Carolyn Hart; Gone But Knot Forgotten by Mary Marks; Marty Wingate’s books; The Chef Maurice books by J. A. Lang; Deveonshire Scream by Laura Childs; Miss Dimple and the Slightly Bewildered Angel by Mignon F. Ballard; Worth Her Weight by Janet K. Brown, and many, many other really interesting books. I list here only a few.

Point is, books are good companions, and a wonderful way to spend a snowy day, a rainy day, or just about any day. Whether we here in NW Arkansas have snow or not, it’s bound to be perfect for reading or writing. Happy reading!
