Authentic and Trustworthy

Authentic and Trustworthy

Yesterday, storm clouds gathered. Thunder rumbled; a storm was coming! An authentic summer storm. It would surely be a good one–after all, the clouds looked pretty mean. And then, it got here–only a few sprinkles, just enough to settle the dust. Disappointing! But today–ah, today! Rain chances are greater. Hope springs eternal, doesn’t it?

Authentic, real, trustworthy–these are attributes we all hope to have. Trusting in an event or a person that proves to be disappointing is like–well, it’s like trying to chew on a sore tooth.

So, how did I get off onto such a dismal subject this morning? It must have been the storm that fizzled yesterday.

Today is the final day to download the first Ned McNeil cozy mystery, Moonlight Can Be Murder,  as a free Kindle book from Amazon! Many people have done that, and I’m grateful. It’s always fun to see how many books have gone out and the places to which they’ve flown. This is an authentic cozy mystery, and right up front, let me tell you it’s not anything but fiction. It is authentic, but it’s authentically a cozy mystery! No more, no less.

I hope your Sunday is blessed with real, honest-to-goodness happiness! If, by chance, your day is stormy and you must stay indoors, it’s a perfect time to open that book you’ve been meaning to read and lose yourself in another time, another place, and a shivery cozy mystery!
