A Lulu of a Nightmare

A Lulu of a Nightmare

The nightmare jolted me awake. This is the opening line of By the Fright of the Silvery Moon and last night, it was quite literally true. An awful nightmare, which I shall not recount to you, woke me. I came to the sofa, went back to sleep, and, although I didn’t sleep well, didn’t dream the same thing again.

But Ned’s dream–well, it nearly turned out to be true. Of course, she didn’t know it at the time, but after that nightmare, some mighty strange and frightening things would happen. When will you get to know what those terrifying things were? Tomorrow! As Annie sang, Tomorrow, You’re only a day away.

Tomorrow, By the Fright of the Silvery Moon will launch, make its debut, be released from long months of confinement, and present its mysterious self for your viewing.

So the countdown narrows to One. One More Day! Will I be able to keep both feet on the ground today? Only time will tell, but right now, it sort of feels as if I’m walking on air.

Answer to Mini-Mystery: So many books inhabit my bookshelves, I would be rich if each book were a dollar bill!
