A Loopy Little Fall Poetry

A Loopy Little Fall Poetry

Yesterday’s perfect weather was too beautiful for  me to stay indoors so I grabbed my trusty camera and sallied forth. First stop: the middle of the street, looking upward. An added bonus: while I was snapping, a neighbor came by walking her dog. We had a good chat about churches, dogs, and autumn.001

As I closed my lens and was turning around, down came a maple leaf, without a sound. It lit on some dark wood and plain as could be, that leaf seemed to whisper, “Take a picture of me.”003

I walked by O’Malley and I do declare, a bright autumn leaf was adorning his hair.004

Petunias, forget-me-nots, cherubs and all seemed to rejoice in the grandeur of fall.006
