Where’d They Go?

Where’d They Go?

Does anybody remember those lazy, hot days of summer when you were a child? Do you remember lying on your back on the grass, gazing up at the blue, blue sky and those puffy, white clouds floating lazily through? Wasn’t it fun to imagine all kinds of shapes in the clouds, a giraffe, an elephant, a running horse? Well, what happened to those times?

Today, we cluster in our air conditioned houses, busy with this, busy with that, and we don’t really have time for daydreaming, or imaginations soaring through the heavens. But, what if we brought back those times? What if, in spite of the heat of summer, we find a shady spot, spread out a blanket, lie down and look at the puffy wisps of white over our heads? They’re still there, just waiting to be a part of someone’s summer day.
