This is a beautiful Sunday morning. The wind is blowing, probably going to bring in thunderstorms tonight, but today, it’s bringing in hay fever time! Sneezes, itchy eyes, runny nose. Yuk! It makes a person feel prickly and uncomfortable and irritable.
All you fellow hay fever sufferers, you have my sympathy. The only good thing about it is that it doesn’t last forever.
Seasons change; times change, and in all the changing, it’s good to hold onto something that is safe and sure. Something that lasts. I believe that, in spite of all the evil in the world, good will triumph. I believe that virtues like truth, loyalty, goodness, kindness, good sense will reign. The unrest and evil that is around us now is rather like the allergen-laden wind. It makes a person feel uncomfortable and uneasy. But, like hay fever season, it is temporary.
