Some things are fun, beginning to end and all in between. Such was Jane’s Christmas party yesterday. Welcome shone from her house with Christmas trees, lights, and seasonal decorations in every nook. Then, there was the tantalizing aroma of food. It was a luncheon and a party rolled into one.
But, the most fun part was seeing old friends and meeting a new one, friends I hadn’t seen in two years due to the recent pandemic. Chatter was non-stop laced with laughter. It was great to catch up with what had been going on in the lives of others.
Times shared with others is the most rewarding of all. Thanks, Jane, for the care and time you took to host a joyful get-together during the most festive season of the year.
