My thoughts, this morning, are a mixture of this and that, here and there, all over the place. The first thing, as I look out my window, is the weather. The wind is brisk, the sky is dark, and I’m wondering if we’ll get some much-needed rain. Remember that song, “April Showers?” Well, we could use some of those April showers.
A few cars have traveled up the hill this morning. If two or more cars pass within twenty-minutes, I wonder what’s going on. I’m thankful for my quiet street.
Not only am I thankful for my neighbors and neighborhood, I’m thankful for a good many blessings. Instead of worrying about the tumult in the world and in our nation, I’ll dwell on all the good things. And, as I said, there are many.
