Happy first day of summer and the longest day of the year. I sure hate to mention this disturbing fact but now the days will start getting a wee bit shorter and shorter until September and the first day of fall and then, on Saturday, September 23, the days and nights are equal. Next, you guessed it, the darker hours start making gains until the first day of winter which is the shortest day of the year and on and on. The earth turns, the seasons change, and that’s the way it is.
So, good morning! Have a cup of coffee with me and enjoy the first day of summer.
The heat is on. It’s summertime. Let’s be grateful for all our blessings and enjoy the day, appreciating the past, but living in the moment.
