A June Morning

A June Morning

It’s hard to believe that June is nearly gone. Summer is well and truly here and it’s watering time for the plants. The birds, I’m sure, are grateful for full bird baths, and the morning glories are climbing the trellis put in place especially for them. Speaking of trellises, A couple of years ago, I planted a grape vine. It seems to like it in front of my porch and daily sends up runners onto its own trellis. Could it, some day, actually be full of grapes?

A chat over the back yard fence with my neighbor Peg yesterday rounded out the day. Nemo and I agree that the nicest thing about warm weather is getting out and about. Winter days being stuck in the house are sometimes not that much fun. I don’t remember how June came in. Do you? But, it’s going out quite nicely and well-behaved. So far.
