Here is a blurb from Grave Heritage:
Summer storms can bring unwelcome surprises.
During the rainiest July on record for the people of Ventris County in Oklahoma, in the midst of a violent thunderstorm, a stranger is murdered. When a friend becomes the second person to die under suspicious circumstances, local sleuth Darcy Campbell is drawn into the investigation. Evidence points toward someone she cares about, but has loyalty blinded her to the truth? Danger is closer to Darcy and her mother, Flora, than either of them suspect. And if the human threat is not enough, Lee Creek and the Ventris River flood, bringing Mother Nature into the fray.
Has the whole world turned on Darcy and Flora? This is another just-right cover by Kelsey Rice. There is meaning in each part. Of course, the headstone has to be there (wouldn’t you know?) But, look closely. There’s a red rose leaning against it. That, too, has special significance. Do you notice Lee Creek? Well, it’s there for a reason. Of course, the tree and foliage symbolize Darcy and Flora’s new home on Granny Grace’s acres. And flowers? Flora has a new herb garden and wildflowers abound.
I had such fun writing Grave Heritage. I hope you will enjoy getting re-acquainted with Darcy and Flora, Grant, Pat and Jasper, the Jenkins twins, Jackson Conner, and a whole slew of other characters.
