We are getting a spot of rain this morning in NW Arkansas. A very welcome rain, I might add. My jonquils are poking up already although I haven’t seen any buds or blooms. And the hyacinths my small helper and I planted 7 years ago and said a prayer to protect them from squirrels and moles, are coming up. I’m getting eager to start my container garden in front of the porch. Hopefully it will do even half as well as a friend of mine who has wonderful container plants both in the front of her house as well as in the back yard.
A rainy day is conducive to writing. Thing is, there’s so much writing I want to do that I can’t decide what to do first and am therefore at a standstill. One thing is certain, though. I must start the Gospel Press assignment because it is due in April and these months slide by very, very quickly.
Of course, Darcy and Flora and the new mystery they find themselves in, in Levi, Oklahoma, calls to me. In trying to find the answer to the contents of a box that was dug up on their property, they find that there are people who are going to try hard to suppress that centuries-old secret.
And so here I am, thinking of where to direct my thoughts. And the cloudy day promises more moisture.

I love the look and tone of your website. Your conversational style draws me in as a writer. Good work.
