Sunshine on snow is blinding. It’s beautiful, but very bright. And, this morning, it’s really,really cold. The temperature doesn’t often fall below zero in Arkansas, but that’s where it is this morning.
The cat food on my front porch was only partly eaten this morning. I don’t know if it’s a homeless cat or a raccoon who usually visits the food dish, but whoever it is, he is hungry and welcome to that little bit of comfort.
So far, I’ve not seen a car go up or down my hill. Everything is white, frozen, and very, very still. January is making itself felt.
