The Next Morning…

The Next Morning…

Thanks to all who made the free ebook giveaway of Grave Shift a big success. Amazon gave away over 1200 of Barbara’s and my book. If you didn’t get a chance to order, remember it is still only $2.99 and I’d count that a bargain.

If you read and enjoy Grave Shift, will you send a rousing review to Amazon? And thanks!

Sara and I juiced some of those apples yesterday. I cut them up and she pushed them through the juicer. I don’t think the juice I buy in stores is nearly as good as this, straight from the apples, no sugar or anything else added.

On a somber note, my niece Missy sent me a picture of a part of the Vietnam Wall she had visited in D. C. The black wall contained the name: Clinton L. Day. That is my oldest nephew. I’ve told you about him before, how he and my brother Richard liked to take their BB guns and go “hunting”. Clint would arm himself with Mom’s biscuits in his pockets and he was ready for the biggest bear or most terrifying wolf. It didn’t matter that he and Richard never encountered any. He was ready, just in case. Our family will always have a gap, an empty space, where Clint should have been and I can’t even write about him without crying.

It is still early morning but the sky is dark with clouds this morning. Will we have rain? Only the Lord knows, but I am sincerely hoping and praying so. That would be a good day for me. And, whatever is a good day for you, I hope you find it and many blessings along the way.
