Moonstruck and Murderous

Moonstruck and Murderous

The people at the Carver Estate are a little–how shall I say it–odd? Or, are they strange-acting because they are moonstruck? Pat, Ned McNeil’s friend, thinks they are both moonstruck and murderous. Is the blue moon during this month of March affecting everyone, including Ned?

The month is March–a strange month–a rainy, windy, untrustworthy month, a month with two full moons. To Ned McNeil, it is simply early springtime, until she gets an unusual phone call from a woman who was a shadowy figure in Ned’s childhood. The phone call changes things. The month becomes anything but usual, and Ned is at the heart of it all.

This third McNeil moonlight mystery will soon be released. Moonstruck follows Moonlight Can Be Murder and By the Fright of the Silvery Moon. I am so excited. I’m offering a glimpse of the front cover and soon will reveal the whole thing. At least one Ned McNeil fan says she buys the print edition of the Ned books because she wants to keep the gorgeous pictures on display. The designer does a terrific job of tempting readers to take a peek inside the eye-catching covers.

In this partial picture, a small animal walks gracefully across the lawn. Although you can’t see it here, can you guess what it is?
