It’s a Wild Life

It’s a Wild Life

Yesterday, we were blessed with missing the baseball-size hailstones that fell in parts of Arkansas. We had a thunderstorm, it blew over, then last night, a re-run. This time, I don’t think there was hail anywhere.

So, my trusty camera and I (and Nemo, of course) in between storms, strolled through the back yard. We picked up sticks blown from trees, at least I did. Nemo seemed oblivious of the chore, and snapped a few pictures. Wild strawberries are a nuisance to some, but I like to find those shiny red bits down among theĀ  grass and clover. Buttercups are still blooming, small dabs of sunshine among the green.

The birds enjoy the solar fountain. It doesn’t shoot the water up very high, but it does create a nice ambience and keeps the water moving.

All in all, it was a lovely spring day, a nice beginning to the month of May.
