What are You Doing Christmas?

What are You Doing Christmas?

What are you doing this Christmas? Are you planning a large celebration with family or friends? Do you have a trip in mind? If so, would you like to go to Ireland or Scotland, England or Finland and experience the celebration of a different culture? Perhaps Hawaii or a Caribbean island where it’s warm? Are you getting all packed, plane tickets bought, dollars exchanged for euros? Or, if you are staying home, are you already feeling tired with thoughts of baking and cleaning and getting ready for company?

May I suggest a different sort of getaway? How about a small town where everyone knows everyone else, where friendship is warm and real, where a fire blazes in the fireplace and the coffee is always hot and strong? Don’t worry about what you’ll pack. Just come as you are. And, the cost? It’s nominal. The good thing is, this vacation isn’t here for a short time to be enjoyed and then fade into a memory; it’s always at hand, to be stepped into whenever you like. And, it leaves you feeling refreshed, not tired. It is a satisfying sort of vacation spent with people who always have out the welcome mat just for you!

Oh! And here’s a fun thing…if you are going somewhere this Christmas, you can take this mini-vacation along with you! It travels well.

However, I must tell you about another side to this vacation. It involves a mystery and danger and a few surprises. It is to be taken only if you like that sort of thing. I’m talking, of course, about Moonlight Can Be Murder. (Order now from Amazon for only 99 cents) What on earth does a title suggestive of sinister figures lurking in shadows have to do with the jolliest month of the year? Well, believe me, it has quite a bit to do with it. And, if that is not quite enough mystery and cozy shivers, there’s By the Fright of the Silvery Moon. (Order now from Amazon for only $4.97) Anything can happen under the light of that moon!

What are you doing this Christmas? How about taking an excursion into a small Oklahoma town and spending it with Ned, Cade, Pat, and Jackie? I think you’ll be glad you did.
