The Many Moods of Moonlight

The Many Moods of Moonlight

Moonlight! That mysterious lantern beaming down at us from above. I can hardly wait for you to see the cover of the newest Ned McNeil mystery coming out this year. I like it! It  has, of course, the moon and guess what? There’s a circle around it. Now, we know a circle around the moon is a sign of coming bad weather. Maybe a storm. And, in By the Fright of the Silvery Moon, Ned does encounter a storm; in fact, more than one.

And then, there’s a graveyard right outside an old, deserted church building. Believe me, the graveyard plays an important part in the story.

So, why this fascination with the moon, you ask? In the first Ned McNeil book, Moonlight Can Be Murder, it seemed that bad things happened when the moon shone brightly on Granger mansion. But then, maybe that was just coincidence; you know, happenstance, one of those accidental occurrences. Or, maybe not.

At any rate, Fright is moving right along through the publishing process and is getting ready to debut sometime within the next few months. I’ll let you know more about a firmer launch date later.

Ned is getting more and more eager to share her next adventure with you.
