When Friends Get Together

When Friends Get Together

As someone on a Facebook page said, “Together is the very best place to be.” Our group was small–Nancy was on a speaking engagement and Carolyn had a nasty cough–but Peg, Jane, and I enjoyed a lively conversation, shortbread, and chocolates. Jane brought the chocolate turtles, and my! Were they good!. Oh! Along with cups of coffee, of course.

The fireplace was blazing cheerily, the Christmas tree glowed, Christmas carols played in the background and we talked…and talked.

This blog is dedicated today to guiding you to some really neat cozy mysteries, courtesy of Peg. Here are a few she has enjoyed since our last meeting: Comic Sans Murder by Paige Shelton, The Wrong Side of the Paw by Laurie Cass, Kale to the Queen by Nell Hampton, and Who Moved My Goat Cheese, a pre-order by Lynn Cahoon.

I read one of the stories I’m writing for Union Gospel Press on assignment.

‘Tis the season to be jolly and well-read and buy a whole bunch of cozies. By the Fright of the Silvery Moon will go with you through the holiday and still be available for the rest of the year. I guarantee it will not wear out. I also guarantee you more than one cozy shiver.
